Software Engineering & Development, VP, Onsite
We are looking for top technical talent to join our team and deliver creative technology solutions for Master Data Mangement (MDM). The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degreein Computer Science or equivalent higher and 20+ years of application development overall.

What you will be responsible for
As Software Engineering & Development – VP, you will
- Actively participate in data modeling and design decision making
- Support business/functional requirement review, approval, and sign-off sessions
- Diagnose, debug, and correct problems in live infrastructure, some of which supports our production clients.
- Work with other members of your team to investigate feature requests, perform detailed analysis and create specifications (where required), implement, and test new functionality.
- Design, implement and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Python, Databricks
- Provisioning, developing, maintaining and tuning Amazon Oracle RDS
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions that meet our data processing and analysis needs
- Ensure performance, reliability, security and maintainability of data pipelines
- Develop monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Support a follow-the-sun operations approach working with colleagues across three continents.
- Work in a truly agile way, all the way down to using agile infrastructure techniques.
- Interact with your peers across the transformation effort across all teams to ensure that best practices are followed throughout the organization.
- Leverage frameworks, tools & automation to ensure quality software deliveries.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve data engineering processes and practices
What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role
- Minimum of 10+ years with expertise in designing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines
- Strong proficiency in building and maintaining stored procedures, triggers and functions in Oracle DB
- Strong understanding of Security framework on-prem and in cloud
- Strong proficiency in using DMS to sync data from RDS to Databricks
- Strong proficiency in Python and Databricks(AWS) in production environment
- Excellent understanding of Big Data technologies, primarily Spark
- Strong understanding of Data Architecture and modelling concepts
- Highly knowledgeable about data warehousing principles and practices
Education & Preferred Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 15+ years of experience or MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 12+ years of experience
Additional requirements
- Knowledge in State Street internal Datawarehouse ESP
- Knowledge in State Street security framework
- Certification on AWS, Databricks

Salary Range:
$130,000 – $212,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
